South Downs Way Hampshire

South Downs Way Hampshire - A departure from my usual landscape photography locations. This time I'm in the south of England on the South Downs Way in the Meon Valley.

I head up towards Butser Hill to get some woodland images, also a couple of lone trees in the soft rolling landscape.

It's something of a challenge as I'm more used to capturing mountains and coastal photographs. Also, I'm not used to meeting so many people in my regular landscape photography locations.

The South Downs Way runs between Winchester and Eastbourne and is 100 miles long. It is mostly within the South Downs National Park.

Being situated in a part of the UK which is pretty densely populated, it is quite busy, but that's understandable. I found that there is plenty of interest to the landscape photographer with woodland and wide open landscapes on all sides.
