Northwest Scotland photo spots, Isle of Skye, Hebrides, mountains , waterfalls and lochs make beautiful photo places for landscape photographers.
The west of Scotland is increasingly more accessible with an increasing number of people enjoying living, working and visiting the region.
The landscape of the Scottish highlands is dominated by steep mountains, lochs and glens, and miles of dramatic and unspoiled coastline.
Further north there is a landscape of bogs and lochans and some major peaks. This area is largely access often only viable by narrow single track roads.
In the west the climate is relatively mild compared with the rest of Scotland and especially at coastal and sea level locations. There are many islands lying off the coast, which vary greatly too.
