Does not Always Go To Plan

Does not Always Go To Plan - The weather in the Lake District has not been ideal for landscape photography so after 6 days stuck in the office I was itching to get out.

My plan was to start at Side Pike in the Langdale valley and look for a composition that includes a drystone wall as part of my Hand of Man project.

But the weather gods had other ideas. Not rain this time but some wonderful conditions along the way that caused me to deviate from my original plan.

Normally I like to be well organised and as a result I often struggle to adapt to the conditions.

On this occasion I embraced the conditions and came away with a couple of unplanned albeit pretty decent images.
