Challenge of a New Location

Challenge of a New Location - There were pleasant conditions down at Honeycombs Beach, not much wind and a chance of a colourful sunset, a great opportunity for some landscape photography.

Once I was through the first crop of rocks, the beach opened out to a quiet bay with a few large boulders half-buried in the sand. I was struggling to find a composition.

With less than 20 minutes before sunset, I decided to climb up the scabble of rocks to see if I could find a position looking over the bay. Facing north, I was hoping the colour from the setting sun would be caught by the clouds and create a background that would complement the scene.

All I needed now was for the light to do its thing!
